“Those drugs aren’t #05’s, officer”

When faced with certain incarceration during a traffic stop, deny any and all wrong doing, and when that doesn’t work, turn to the person next to you in your car and throw them under the bus with the quickness and vigor of someone with the adequate amounts of desperation.

According to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office, Toni Micaela Neal, 24, of the 1000 block of Mack Drive in Haughton was pulled over on East Texas for swerving within her lane.

The driver seemed very nervous by way of body language. Consent to search the car was granted and during the search deputies discovered a .8 gram marijuana blunt on the floorboard.

At that point, Neal was arrested. She then admitted to deputies that she had more marijuana in her pants. She retrieved a 2.2 gram bag of marijuana, three Lortabs and three Xanax pills from her pants.

She then told the deputies that the pills weren’t hers that they belonged to the passenger in the vehicle, James Richard Williams, Jr., 25, of the 5300 block of East Texas in Bossier City. Williams stated that the pills and marijuana weren’t his either. Williams was also found to have two outstanding Bossier City warrants and a failure to appear warrant.
